The spring 2017 urban design studio, Urbanism After Extraction, co-taught by SA+P's Rafi Segal and Marie Law Adams, has received the ARCHITECT 2017 Studio Prize. The studio, which brought together students from the departments of architecture and urban studies and planning, investigated post-industrial urban transformations of a former mining region in Poland.
