MISTI Global Seed Fund Awards 2017

LCAU is the recipient of three MISTI Global Seed Fund Awards in the 2017-18 cycle. Professor Brent Ryan in collaboration with Ying Long and Shuqi Gao, Tsinghua University will be undertaking a transnational comparison, examining shrinking cities in the US and China. Associate Professor Rafi Segal will use the MISTI award to extend his research into new housing and village models for rural Rwanda in collaboration with Jacques Murama, University of Rwanda. Finally Marie Law Adams and Adele Santos will undertake a preliminary workshop in January 2018 to Georgetown, Guyana, that will focus on infrastructure, public space, and housing prototypes. This workshop is undertaken in collaboration with the Inter-American Development Bank and the University of Guyana.
