Infinite Suburbia Book Launch

What is the future of global suburbia? The Norman B. Leventhal Center for Advanced Urbanism at MIT (LCAU) has collaborated with a network of artists, researchers, theorists, faculty, and students to examine emergent trends of suburban design and development around the world. Infinite Suburbia (Princeton Architectural Press, Oct. 2017)  is the culmination of that study. Infinite Suburbia presents 52 essays by 74 authors from 20 different fields, including design, architecture, landscape, planning, history, demographics, social justice, familial trends, policy, energy, mobility, health, environment, economics, and applied and future technologies.

Join us on 14th November 2017 at 6PM in the City Arena (9-255) for the launch of this groundbreaking compilation, with presentations by its editors, Alan M. Berger, Professor at MIT, and Joel Kotkin, Professor at Chapman University, followed by a moderated discussion led by David Luberoff, Deputy Director, Joint Center For Housing Studies of Harvard University.

Please RSVP to lcau@mit.edu.
